High Level Access Platform

Vector Lifting specialises in the design and manufacture of specialised maintenance equipment to increase the productivity within rail depots. Along with the lifting systems Vector Lifting has fitted out High Level access platforms, Overhead Maintenance Platform and Bogie Lifting Overhead Cranes which complement the existing systems.

High Level Access Platform

The High Level access platform has been installed at the BHP Port Hedland Iron Ore train maintenance facility to assist in the maintenance of the Iron Ore Locomotives. The High Level Access Platform (HLAP) is utilised to provide the maintenance personnel to work at the elevated high without additional safety harnesses and working at height permits.



Overhead Maintenance Platform

The Overhead Maintenance Platform has been utilised at a number of different Train Maintenance facilities around Australia including, Craigieburn Train Maintenance Facility and Nowergup. The Overhead Maintenance Platform allows maintenance crew to work above the Electric Multiple Unit train. The Overhead Maintenance Platform traverses along an overhead girder via motorised trolleys allowing the maintenance personal to access any part of the train without having to shunt it within the facility. the platform also extends to ensure there are no gaps between the platform and the top of the roof.
